Job Title: HR Associate Manager - Compliance & PolicyLocation: Washington, DC (Hybrid: 2 days onsite/week)Industry: Human ResourcesPay: $95,000 - $106,000Work schedule: 40 hours per weekBackground check: RequiredAbout Our Client:Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire an HR Associate Manager to join their dynamic Human Resources team. Our client is a mission-driven organization seeking a compliance and policy specialist to support their HR operations.Job Description:This role will function as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) supporting a business unit of approximately 40 employees. The focus will be on HR compliance, policy management, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws. The ideal candidate will have expertise in HR legal functions, reporting, and employment policies.Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the HRBP for a designated business unit, managing employee relations, talent acquisition, retention, and compliance processes.
  • Ensure HR policies comply with employment laws, including FLSA, ADA, FMLA, and EEO.
  • Monitor legislative updates and adjust company policies as needed.
  • Oversee state-specific HR compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions (CA, NY, DC).
  • Act as the subject matter expert for Oracle HCM, managing HRIS functions.
  • Collaborate with legal teams on compliance-related HR matters.
  • Provide guidance on contract management for employees and fixed-term contractors.Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of HR experience, preferably in an HRBP role focused on compliance and policy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS (Oracle HCM preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Fluency in Spanish or French is a plus but not mandatory.
  • IT or digital transformation recruiting experience is a plus.Perks:
