Department provides strategic partnership to the business to
develop and implement workforce strategies. The HR department
includes three Centers of Expertise (COEs) -- Strategy &
Organizational Effectiveness, Global Talent Acquisition & Mobility,
and Talent & Incentives - and two Client Services teams providing
support to HQ and regions.While embarking on implementing the
Integrated Talent Management Strategy, IFC Talent Development &
Incentives team is seeking a Talent Mobility and Onboarding Lead to
lead the development and coordination of the respective talent
journeys in IFC. The position will be in Washington, DC, and will
report to the Manager, Talent Development & Incentives.Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Oversee internal mobility and onboarding processes as strategic
tools to enhance employee experience and organizational
performance.
- Lead the development of strategies, design, and coordination of
internal talent mobility programs to support talent career
progression and organizational agility.
- Establish clear guidelines and processes to enable managers and
employees to navigate internal mobility opportunities
effectively.
- Further define IFC induction and onboarding-related processes
and events that are engaging and impactful, enhancing the overall
employee experience.
- Design and coordinate programs for Executive and Managerial
Onboarding.
- Collaborate with Talent Development teams to incorporate
skill-building opportunities and resources into onboarding and
mobility programs, supporting employees' continuous growth.
- Collaborate with HR and IFC functions to ensure program
alignment with broader talent and business strategies, processes
and programs.
- Supervise the performance and responsibilities of the mobility
and onboarding team members, manage daily people-related
activities, and offer them coaching, guidance, and
development.
- Manage and monitor program effectiveness through tracking,
analysis, insights, and reporting, translating it into the
evolution of talent development initiatives and goals/KPIs.
- Establish and maintain adherence to agreed procedures,
principles, and practices and propose updates.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices innovations
to enhance the onboarding and mobility experience, incorporating
relevant insights into IFC initiatives.
- Consider new delivery methods, including automation and other
technology-enabled solutions for these programs to enable
scalability, efficiency, and consistency.Selection CriteriaThe
successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 8 years of HR or related experience, including team
supervision.
- Genuine commitment to development and alignment with WBG and
IFC's mission and values.
- In-depth understanding and knowledge of HR processes and best
practices in relevant HR areas, such as workforce planning, talent
development, career pathways, talent analytics, employee
transitions - and connections and integration of these
programs.
- Proven track record of leading change in Talent
Management.
- Strategic and innovative thinking, utilizing talent-related
data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for
improvement. Ability to challenge the status quo and make
data-driven recommendations.
- Strong results orientation with initiative, coordination,
program, and project management skills, with the ability to design
and implement initiatives from end to end, delivering synchronized
and high-quality results.
- Experience in managing and leading teams to success, both
direct line reports and influencing without authority.
- Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills, handling
internal and external stakeholders with discretion and managing
confidential information.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and
external partners and to establish relationships and confident
interaction at all levels, including senior management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including
producing and presenting documents and presentations for
management.
- Ability to thrive in complex and ambiguous situations,
multitask, meet deadlines, and prioritize under pressure.
- Role model of integrity, work ethic, and commitment to
diversity.
- Good understanding of IFC business, strategy and organization
