be.About the role and where you will be working:Southern Cross Care
(WA) is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the
department located at our central office in Rivervale. This is a
flexible position with both a mix of office and working from
home.We'll also be asking you to:
- Process complex end-to-end payroll, inclusive of onboarding,
offboarding, contract variations, adjustments, leave cash outs,
timesheet imports, data checking, variance analysis, system
processes etc. within defined timeframes with high accuracy and
speed.
- Resolution of payroll queries in a timely and efficient
manner.
- Comply with audit requirements.
- Complete complex calculations with an analytical eye for errors
and variances.
- Ensure all documentation is filed as per departmental
guidelines.To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- Knowledge and understanding of Payroll Processing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written
and verbal).
- Knowledge of current legislative requirements relating to
taxation and superannuation.
- Advanced Word and Excel skills.
- The ability to think critically and problem solve.Working with
