Overview:$13.00/Hour -Come join the Kings Dominion Human
Resources Team at Benton Hall! As a Dorm Housekeeping Attendant,
you are responsible for supporting our dorm residents while keeping
the Housing Supervisor informed of activities, concerns, and
residential needs. In this role, you will assist in developing
maintaining the cleanliness of Benton Hall. This position has a
payrate of $13/hour and includes our seasonal perks!
Responsibilities:
- Cleans all assigned areas including restrooms, kitchens,
hallways, common areas, and grounds using the appropriate
-chemicals.
- Replenishes supplies such as paper towels, toilet tissue, and
soap as needed. Requests supplies when stock is low.
- Ensures garbage cans and cigarette urns are routinely emptied
and replaced.
- Ensures all grounds are kept free of trash and debris,
including smoking and dumpster area.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when
serving the guest or working with subordinates, including
-initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving
directions.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and
performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety
-guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual
conditions to supervision.
- Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights,
weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar
Fair's attendance policies.
- Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific
costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee
-Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and
procedures.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Kings Dominion Associate Housing associates must be of at least
18 years of age to apply.
- Ability to hold the highest standards in confidentiality.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service when
interacting with associates and coworkers.
- Ability to assist in defining and directing problems or issues,
and have a vast knowledge of the company. Giving correct directions
is crucial.
- Ability to demonstrate basic computer and typing skills.
- Ability to utilize strong written and verbal communication
skills, including the ability to speak in front of groups.
- Ability to utilize problem-solving skills, including working in
a fast-paced, service-focused culture.
- Ability to demonstrate strong time management, planning, and
organizational skills in order to optimize productivity.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet
business needs.
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company
policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or
older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal,
DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per
Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial
law.
