organic breads, pastries, sweets, and croissant items inspired by
bakeries in France to the DMV area. We have expanded to seven
retail locations, two production bakeries, and a thriving wholesale
business. We serve coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, and grocery
stores with fresh products every day, 365 days a year. Our mission

Fresh Baguette is looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Cook
for its Rockville production center (804 Hungerford Drive
Rockville, MD 20850). The Pastry Cook"s role is to assist the
Pastry Chefs in their daily operations. As a Pastry Cook, you would
be responsible for creating, preparing, producing and baking all
pastries and desserts for the bakery to deliver outstanding guest
experiences and financial profitability. Products vary from
--clairs, tarts, macarons, cannel--, mousses, ganaches, meringues,
and more. As a Pastry Cook you will:
- Use kitchen equipment such as mixer, blenders, ovens and
cookers.
- Follow clear written procedures when handling recipes.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Ensure compliance with food safety
and sanitation regulations.
- Implement and enforce proper hygiene practices, including
ingredient handling, storage, and disposal.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area.
- Assist the Executive Chef and Pastry Chef in the implementation
of new recipes.Benefits

- Knowledge of pastry culinary fundamentals is required
- Ability to demonstrate culinary techniques, i.e., cutting,

environment.Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in
pastry/baking
- Proven work experience in a similar role, e.g., pastry chef,
chocolatier.
- High school or equivalent education is required
- Training in a culinary institute is a plus
- Associate degree in baking and pastry arts, or similar is
preferred.
- Located in the US at the time of application with current
authorization to work in the US
- Reliable transportation to work
- Intermediate to Native/Bilingual proficiency in English
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8
hours in length
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking,
repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing
ability and visual acuity
