position is offered as a hybrid role in the Seattle, WA area. You
must be willing to work in office at the Nordstrom Seattle office a
minimum of 3 days/week to be considered for this position.As the
Restaurant Director, Field Leadership & Partnerships, you'll lead
the Nordstrom Field Restaurant and Specialty Coffee Bar Team in all
activities that enable achievement of the Restaurant Division
priorities and business outcomes. You will partner with Boka
Restaurant Group (BRG) - our guest experience partner, and you will
collaborate on the creation and execution of the Nordstrom
Restaurant Division Operations Strategy and serve as the primary
partner at Nordstrom for the Boka Restaurant Group (BRG) Field
Operators. This role coaches, recruits, holds accountable, and
mentors current and future leaders.A day in the life---
- Lead F&B Operations by working cross-functionally with both
internal and external partners including BRG; serve as primary
field leader directly managing Nordstrom Area F&B Leaders; lead
the partnership with BRG field leaders and partner closely with
Nordstrom Director of Coffee and Beverage Programs and BRG to
support development of coffee bar and bar strategies and
implementations.
- Work collaboratively with BRG for creation and implementation
of major JWN Programs (i.e., Culinary, Beverage Programs, Internal
JWN asks, Concept Development, Brand Partnerships and
Pop-ups).
- Develop team of leaders to support strong talent within the
organization.
- Leverage deep understanding of the Food, Beverage, and
Specialty Coffee industry to stay current on trends and effectively
implement and maintain organization-wide change management.
- Apply a strong understanding of food and beverage operations,
recruiting and supply chain.
- Direct and interact collaboratively through effective
communication with all internal and external customers and business
partners and ensure key stakeholders are in the loop and have
alignment where necessary.
- Work closely with VP of Restaurants and Finance on creation of
all financial budgets and metrics.
- Close alignment with BRG and Nordstrom cross-functional teams
on all store design projects and planning during new store and
remodel work, and collaborate with Marketing and Social teams
within the company to meet goals of both the Restaurant Division
and JWN.
- Review, analyze and create business plan around weekly,
monthly, and yearly results.
- Ensure team of Area Leaders are meeting steps of service on all
customer interactions resulting in a service experience that lives
up to Nordstrom's customer expectations and coach team on
performance gaps and career development opportunities.
- Work closely with team and BRG on appropriate staffing
resources and levels.
- Ensure compliance of all regulatory systems including hiring,
tipping, and applicable liquor laws.
- Manage the team to meet all food safety service and production
expectations and ensure all JWN systems (i.e., SS&P) are being
followed and the teams attend the appropriate training.You own this

- 10+ years' experience leading in a senior level leadership
position within food and beverage industry.
- Skills as a coach -- adept at leading through ambiguity and
complex partnerships, and experience leading and managing a remote
national team.
- Expertise in problem solving, and ability to work
collaboratively across business to find solutions and influence
across all levels at Nordstrom.
- Ability to model superior communication skills, flexing to
communicate effectively at all levels internally at Nordstrom as
well as externally.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively (50% - 75%).
- Deep experience and expertise within the food and beverage
industry, (including specialty coffee) managing multiple concepts,
locations, and brand partnerships on an international scale.
- Experience and skill in Microsoft office suite -- with the
ability to quickly learn new technology systems.We've got you

DetailsThe pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state
specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other
locations.Washington: $150,000 - $245,000 Annually. This position
may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits

options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements
