Job Description:

Summary: Assist with scheduling and supervision of Team Members, ensure smooth operation of the Bakery Team, and provide courteous service to customers and Team Members.

Job Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Bakery Team Members.
  
• Work with Bakery Trainer to train Team Members in a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
  
• Assist in training of new Team Members, utilizing learning checklists and training materials.
  
• Keep all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and properly rotated.
  
• Open and close department according to established procedures.
  
• Ensure all necessary breaks are given.
  
• Communicate team concerns to the Team Leader.
  
• Satisfy and delight customers by maintaining awareness of customer flows and needs.
  
• Select, train and develop Team Members in a manner that sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
  
• Provide timely and thorough performance evaluations.
  
• Communicate and model WFM vision and goals.

    Experience:
    
    • 
      
    • 12+ months retail experience.
      
      
      Physical Requirements:
      
      • 
        
      • Lift 50 pounds.
        
      • Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
        
      • Use hands for grasping, manipulation, pushing and pulling.
        
      • Work in wet and dry conditions.
        
      • Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
        
      • Use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters and heavy machinery.
