Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to,
experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the
time of the offer. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Provide
direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services
under the supervisionof a physician. Obtain patient history and
perform assessment.
Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures.
Provide and document direct treatment and management of health
conditions.
Provide counseling and education of patient and their
families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment
options and community resources.
Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations
and care. Requirements Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local
Credentialing Office
Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of
Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Verified by local Credentialing Office
Preferred Credential(s):
Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart
Association (AHA).Verified by local Credentialing Office
Education:
Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
Master's degree preferred.
Work Experience:
