all the difference in our success!Role:The Admissions Registered
Nurse (RN) in accordance with public health nursing standards,
practices, and policies, will provide and arrange for Hospice care
for patients/families, in a collaborative relationship, with other
members of the interdisciplinary team. The Admission Nurse makes
initial nursing assessments, judgments and treatment decisions
based on patient/family needs and wishes in accordance with
professional skills.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThe Admissions RN
is responsible for supervising LPNs, CNAs, Unit Secretaries, and
Volunteers.Experience RequirementsThe RN must have at least two
years of public health/community health, med surg or related
nursingexperience. Experience in home care, hospice, and/or
oncology nursing preferred.Education RequirementsThe RN must have
at least a Diploma or Associates degree in Nursing from an
accredited nursingprogram. BSN preferred.Required Certificates
and/or LicensesThe RN must have licensure from the governing body
for practice for the District of Columbia, State of Maryland,
and/or the Commonwealth of Virginia, based on the
state/jurisdiction of practice; or licensure from compact state.
Healthcare Provider BLS (CPR) is required to practice in State of
Maryland and the District of Columbia.Overall SkillsThe ability to

Range:$73,685.10 - $110,527.65This position requires consent to
drug and/or alcohol testing after a conditional offer of employment
is made, as well as on-going compliance with the Drug-Free
