Job Title: Locum Tenens Physician Job Specialty: Urology Job Duration: Ongoing Shift: Day - 5x8 - 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM - 40 Hours Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 150 Urology Surgery Case Logs required License: Board Certification Eligible (BC or BE within first 5 years) Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 24-hour call availability, Advanced surgical skills Job Description: - Work two weeks a month back-to-back - 1st week is clinic Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with no call - 2nd week is 24-hour call from Monday 7 AM to the following Monday 7 AM - Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90-120 days - Specialty skills required include: - General Urology for adults, preference for pediatric and neonate experience - Advanced endoscopic techniques preferred - Required laparoscopic surgeries and percutaneous nephrolithotomy - Required ureteroscopy, radical prostatectomy, and nephrectomy - Preferred skills in radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, pelvic node dissection, and adrenalectomy - Required partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound - Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy required - TRUS biopsies and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) required - Incontinence procedures required - Renal transplant surgery required - Robotic surgery preferred - Preferred experience in penile prosthesis, advanced pediatric surgery, and adrenalectomy - Facility trauma level is 0 and PEDs level is 0 - Lodging preapproval for long-term housing required This job posting is for a physician specializing in urology, available for locum tenens with a chance to work in a diverse medical environment requiring advanced skills.
