TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20010 Pay Information $2,957 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: CCU (Coronary Care Unit) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years of experience with conscious sedation & vents. Will accept first-time travelers with adequate experience. License: DC RN Licensure. Pending DC license accepted but must have license prior to start date and proof of application with submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Flu vaccination required (no exemptions). Proof of application for DC license if not already obtained. Job Description: - Work in a short-term acute care and teaching hospital recognized as one of the top 50 heart and vascular centers in the country. - Patient ratio is 1:2 in a 22-bed unit. - No on-call requirement; work every other weekend. - Must float to other units within level of acuity as required. - Charting is done using Cerner software. - Participate in 28 hours of orientation, with modules completed pre-start and potentially during orientation. - RTO must be provided upfront for the full 13 weeks; no more than 7 days of RTO preferred per 13-week contract, and no RTO in the first two weeks of the assignment. - Ensure compliance with travel restrictions related to local radius rules. - Must provide two supervisor references. - If previously employed, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return in a traveler position. - Be prepared for potential non-interview placements, and submit questions prior to the manager's review. 27279849EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Adapting to new environments, team dynamics, and patient populations fosters adaptability.
