The Charge Nurse Surgical Care Unit will lead a dynamic team of professionals and work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. The Charge Nurse Surgical Care will direct the activities of the patient care team for pediatric surgical/trauma patient population. In collaboration with department leadership, will participate in planning, managing and evaluating unit based clinical care and ensuring that continuity of care is maintained. The Charge Nurse Surgical Care Unit will contribute to Magnet re-designation, participate in department professional activities and help to identify opportunities to improve clinical and administrative processes.
