Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Mid Shift Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: 3 years of Emergency Room experience License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse Certifications: NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, Cerner Experience Job Description: - The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment treating a wide range of patients. - Nurses are responsible for managing critical care skills, including medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes. - Patient care includes urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma cases. - Coordinate and deliver care to patients with complex nursing needs to ensure safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience. - Candidates must live 100 miles away from the job location. - A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly desired.
