and the planet.We are looking for a SHE Manager who will ensure
that Tetra Pak complies with safety, health, and environmental
regulations by developing policies, conducting inspections,
training employees, and investigating incidents to maintain a safe
working environment for all employees and minimize environmental
impact at our Vancouver, WA site.This position is based onsite in
Vancouver, WA.Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal or
External) who require International relocation to the United
States.What you will do
- Lead the Safety & Health pillar to drive a zero-accident goal
in the factory.
- Drive Safety Health and Environment key performance indicators
in the factory.
- Conduct accident / incident investigation and ensure all
incidents are reported and investigated promptly.
- Monitor compliance with local legal requirements, Corporate OHS
and Environment policies and procedures.
- Implement, maintain, and improve safety tools.
- Define local tools and procedures related to SHE as well as
manage SHE reports.
- Ensure timely delivery of correct data to reporting platforms
(i.e. SoFi (Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report),
Sedex questionnaires).
- Ensure that a SHE training program is in place.We believe you
have
- A Bachelors Degree in a relevant field.
- At least 6+ years of proven experience in a SHE role in a
manufacturing environment and 2-4 years in a management role.
- Certified Safety Professional certification.
- Preferably experience implementing regulatory standards in a
manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing security aspects.
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal health, safety &
environmental regulations.
- HR OHS Process and Application knowledge.
- Packaging Materials (PM) Environmental Systems and
Improvements.
- Environmental External and Organizational Awareness.
- WCM Concepts & Principles.
- Stakeholder Management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Incident Investigation, Root Cause
Analysis and Problem Solving.
- Ability to influence others and change their mindset.
- Ideally Union experience.Pay EquityTetra Pak provides the
following compensation range that in good faith believes it might
pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects
the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the
position across all US locations. Ranges are determined by role,
level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by
work location and additional factors, including job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training.This compensation
range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is
just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for
employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus,
competitive benefits, and work-related allowances.Annual Base
Salary Range (ABS): $83,700 - 112,000Short-term Incentive/Bonus
(Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of
