Responsibilities

medicine -Unit Summary: The 39-bed unit is dedicated to providing
high-quality pre/post general surgical care as well as managing the
Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence. The RN will be responsible
for providing patient-focused nursing care to patients with various
surgical needs, including Laparoscopic Cholecystectomies,
Tracheostomies, kidney and liver transplants, and trauma patients.
RNs on this unit can learn about a wide range of surgical
procedures and techniques, which can enhance their expertise and
contribute to their professional development.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Current RN License in good standing with state licensing
board.
- BSN required OR enrollment and completion of BSN within 5
years
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience in an acute care
setting.
- BLS certification (ACLS within 3 months of hire) -Main
