(Ngaanyatjarra people) across 11 unique communities, our council is
dedicated to preserving and celebrating our rich heritage spanning
over 10,000 years and 250,000 square kilometres.Established in
1981, the Ngaanyatjarra Council Group (NCG) represents the
interests of the Ngaanyatjarra People across the 11 communities in
the Central Desert region of Western Australia. Employing in excess
of 450 people, NCG provides a wide range of services, including
health, utilities, construction, employment, community development,
shops, roadhouses, art centres, and land services. It is one of the
largest and most successful Indigenous organisations in the

strong on Country.The Opportunity:This is a unique and rewarding
opportunity to join the Ngaanyatjarra Council Group as a Primary
Health Care Nurse, with a variety of positions available, including
permanent and relief roles.Working in the heart of the
Ngaanyatjarra Lands in WA, you will be at the forefront of
delivering essential health services across 11 remote communities,
significantly contributing to the well-being and health of the
Yarnangu people.In this role, you will have the chance to engage

dedicated and experienced Primary Health Care Nurse with a passion
for working in diverse and remote settings. With a minimum of 3
years' experience in similar environments, you bring a wealth of
knowledge and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality
health care. Your current registration with the Nursing and
Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse reflects your
commitment to professional standards.Your highly developed
interpersonal and communication skills enable you to work
effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, particularly in
culturally diverse and language-rich settings. You have a strong
understanding of Aboriginal health issues and are adept at applying
the principles of Primary Health Care within complex remote
practice environments.You are known for your ability to manage and
promote change, your dedication to Quality Improvement and
evidence-based practice, and your commitment to ongoing
professional development. Proficient in a range of information
technologies, you are well-equipped to handle patient information
and data management systems. Your enthusiasm for making a
meaningful impact in a vibrant and culturally significant community
