Inova Center for Personalized Health is looking to add a Message Therapist to our outstanding team! Ideally, we want someone to work 10 hours a week between the hours of 12-8, M-F. We are also open Saturday mornings if additional weekend hours are desired. We offer great pay and a fun working environment. We are located at 8100 Innovative Park Drive, Fairfax, Va.

Massage Therapist Job Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Ensures a clean and orderly work area.
  
• Greets/escorts patients to proper treatment areas in a timely manner.
  
• Performs therapeutic massages to patients in the physical therapy clinic.
  
• Cleans mats, tables, and equipment, per facility standards, prior to massages.
  
• Adheres to department policies regarding timeframe, form, and content of written daily notes.
  
• Demonstrates collaboration in communication with team members and is open to feedback and receptive to change.
  
• Selects evaluation and treatment methods appropriate for the diagnosis, age group, and patients' physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans.
  
  
  Massage Therapist Additional Requirements:Certification - Basic Life Support- from the AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION
  Licensure - Licensed Massage Therapist Virginia State License
  Experience - 200 clinical hours and 500 training hours from an accredited massage institute
  Education - High School diploma or equivalent; Certification from an accredited massage institute
