Type Part Time ID j-250967 Posted Oct 1, 2024 We are currently seeking a Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position near Edmonds, WA. This is a great opportunity for a skilled provider who enjoys working with a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension, and it requires full-time availability, Monday through Friday.

• Specialty: Family Practice
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Contract Length: 3 months, with potential for extension
• Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)Responsibilities:
  • Patient Volume: Up to 21 patients per day, may vary based on cancellations and scheduling
  • Patient Population: Newborns to geriatrics, must be comfortable treating patients of all ages
  • Support Staff:
    • Dedicated medical assistant
    • Receptionist
    • Mental health therapists
    • Dietitians
    • Pediatrician onsite at most clinics
    • Local health care administrator for timecard submission
    • Procedures: Routine family medicine procedures including injections, IUD placements, minor wound care
    • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPICKey Qualifications:
      • Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Family Medicine
      • License: Active Washington State medical license required
      • DEA: Active Washington DEA required
      • Experience: Must have experience working in community health centers or with vulnerable populations such as migrants and refugees. Experience with these patient groups is highly valued, though interpreters are available on-site.
      • Minimum Requirements: Clean background required; no malpractice history will be considered.
