Job Description:
A company is looking for a Physician Coder specializing in
Cardiology.
Key Responsibilities
Review and accurately code professional Cardiology cases to
maximize reimbursement
Meet daily production and quality goals, maintaining a 95% accuracy
rate
Stay current on coding guidelines and participate in departmental
meetings
Required Qualifications and Education
High School diploma required; Associate or BS degree preferred
Completion of an AHIMA or AAPC-certified program with a
professional credential (CCS, CPC, etc.)
Minimum of 3 years of physician coding experience in Cardiology
Proficient knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, CPT and
ICD-10-CM coding guidelines
Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic healthcare record
systems
