  • Cath Lab Tech - 4x9 Day
  • Shift: 0700-4:30PM 4 x 9 days M-F
  • Must start with 3-4 weeks for the higher rate.
  • On Call/Weekend Requirements: On call : 10 shifts/month: 1 Friday per month and 6 M-Thurs on call per month; 3 24-hour weekend call shifts per month (no other weekend requirement)
  • Float Requirement: Local Rate within 60 Miles of facility.

    • ACLS
    • ARRT
    • MD Board of Physicians certified
    • 2 years of experience required with Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, ASD Closures, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Right heart catheterization, and Temporary Pacemaker
    • Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, interventional radiology and special procedures experience preferred; EP lab skills preferred to include insertion and programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion and cardiac ablation
    • 1 prior travel assignment required
      • Schedule Information
      • 4x9 days M-F
      • On call: 10 shifts/month: 1 Friday per month and 6 M-Thurs on call per month; 3 24-hour weekend call shifts per month (no other weekend requirement)
        • Additional Details
        • Required upon hire: Aya: CCS must complete Aya I9/E-Verify attestation located in facility-specific documents once I9 & E-Verify are complete.
        • A valid driver's license will be required if driving on behalf of MedStar Health is an essential function of the job.
