This position is full time, One weekend per month and one day per week call.Don't miss the opportunity to be a part of the organization and Hospital, recognized for excellence and innovation, and where we create an environment of respect and growth, where contributions are recognized and rewarded.Responsibilities- Effectively utilizes Inova Health System Inventory Management systems.- Assists RNs to accurately explain procedures to patients and families to ease anxiety.- Troubleshoots equipment effectively and places service calls to Biomedical when necessary.- Anticipates procedure flow and works with other team members to produce the highest quality care.- Provides a safe environment and identifies hazards immediately. Follows unit protocols to take corrective actions as needed.- Demonstrates proficiency in imaging modalities in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology such as digital, laser printing, and cut film.
  
  Requirements- Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Registered Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry in Vascular Interventional (VI), Cardiovascular (CV) or Cardiovascular Interventional(CI)- Licensure - Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Radiologic Technologist is required only if the position is located in a free-standing center not affiliated with an Inova Health System Hospital.- Experience - One year of work experience as a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist.- Education -Vocational/Technical in the area of study in Radiologic Technology; Graduate of an accredited school of Radiography; Associate or higher degree preferred
