Job Description:
The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Department of
Pediatrics seeks a Director of Pediatric Interventional Cardiology
to join the Division of Pediatric Cardiology. Applicants should

individuals of diverse backgrounds.DescriptionThis Cardiologist
will work primarily at the Johns Hopkins Children's Center main
campus. Clinical activities will include cardiac catheterization
lab, outpatient clinics, and inpatient rotation. Occasional travel
to outreach clinics located in surrounding community cities maybe
required. Cardiac catheterization and Inpatient care are provided
at the Johns Hopkins Children's Center in Baltimore, MD. Clinical
activities of this faculty member will be at the full-time
assistant/associate/professor rank based on the experience of the
candidate.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPatient care duties including
inpatient, outpatient, and cardiac catheterization labOn-call
duties for pediatric & congenital cardiology and cardiac
catheterization labTeaching of medical students, residents, and
fellowsAcademic efforts including original research and QIPerform
other related duties and participate in special projects as
assigned.The candidate must hold an MD/DO degree (or equivalent),
be board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric cardiology, and
hold or be eligible for a Maryland physician license.Candidates
must have completed residency & fellowship training. Additional
training and/or extensive experience in pediatric and congenital
interventional catheterization is required.Job Type: Full Time
