General Summary of Position
Float Pool Highlights

Float Pool Nurses serve Med Surg/Post Surgical,
Neuro Med Surg Tele, Renal Med Surg Tele, Tele, IMC, ICU and ED units as long
as the nurse has experience in those areas.

We offer an additional $10.00/hr float pool
bonus and our lucrative MedStar Health benefit package. This is an excellent
opportunity for those who need benefits, but still can receive the additional
float pool hourly premium! - The minimum requirement is 1 year of Med Surg
Tele RN experience within the last five years.

Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

  Qualifications
  
  • ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
  • 2 years of RN experience required; at least 1 year of medical surgical telemetry
    RN experience within the last five years strongly preferred.
  • Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required. ACLS preferred.MedStar Health Nursing
