In addition to performing fetal assessments and providing appropriate interventions, you will also use appropriate interventions for OB pain management and perform/monitor OB anesthesia/analgesia to provide appropriate interventions.   • As an L&D Registered Nurse, you will demonstrate support of Lactation Services and perform Labor and Delivery surgical procedures
  • You will communicate effectively with all members of health care team utilizing verbal and written skills
  • You must respond to acute changes in unit and patient conditions
  • Ensuring medications are administered according to hospital policy is a key responsibility
  • Your role will demonstrate professionalism, accountability and commitment to nursing care in labor and delivery
    What qualifications you will need:

    • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
    • Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
    • Current BLS certification
    • At least two years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
