  • Travel nursing position in Richmond, Virginia at CJW Medical Center Chippenham Campus.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have Telemetry Experience and ability to read EKGs
    • Ability to handle a fast-paced unit with several admissions, discharges, transfers, procedures, etc.
    • Sets priorities and modifies patient care in response to changing conditions by utilizing problem-solving skills and exhibiting good judgment.
    • Makes appropriate and timely notification to physicians on patient condition changes
      • Schedule Information
      • Every 3rd Friday and Saturday 7p-7a plus an additional Friday or Saturday (7p-7a) each schedule.
      • Will need help with Halloween, Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas night.

        • Unit: Cardiac Telemetry Unit
        • Floating Area(s): Med Surg- low probability of floating
        • Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - navy
          • Additional Details
          • Number of Beds - 25
          • Day Shift - 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 1 Unit Secretary, 2-3 Techs
          • Night Shift - 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 1 tech
          • Patient Ratios - 4:1
          • Type of equipment - EKG Machine, Hoyer Lift, LifePak
          • EMR - Meditech
          • Typical procedures performed on unit(s): PD, EKGs, Most cardiac procedures are done in the Cath Lab - not on the unit
