  • Job Details
  • Cath Lab Tech - 4x9 Day
  • Four 9 hour shifts (36 HRS)
  • 0700-4:30PM Four nine hour shifts Monday through Friday: 36 hours weekly
  • Start Date: 10/14, 10/21
  • Work Setting Skills Required: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath lab
  • Work setting Skills preferred: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures
  • Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures Required: ASD Closures, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Right heart catheterization, Temporary Pacemaker
  • Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures Preferred: Hemodynamic monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Permanent Pacemaker Insertion (PPI)
  • Electrophysiology Studies Required Skills: Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Pacemaker Insertion
  • EP Skills Preferred: Cardiac Ablation
  • Procedural Skills Required: Accurate monitoring, Equipment set up, Perform EKG lead placement, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose)
  • Procedural Skills Preferred: Isolation Precautions, Use of Rapid Response team
  • 5 Cases/Day
  • Patient population: Adults, Geriatrics
  • 2 Years Minimum Experience Required
  • Must have 1 prior travel assignment
  • Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

      • On call: 10 shifts/month: 3 W/E, 1 Fri, 6 Mon-Thurs
      • Weekend Shifts: 3- 24 hr. weekend CALL shifts
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
