Be:
- Scope & Requirement Management: Establish detailed project
requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment
with client needs and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, document requirements,
and manage them through the entire project lifecycle.
- Issue, Risk, and Change Management: Proactively identify and
manage issues, risks, and changes, ensuring timely mitigation and
solution implementation.
- Team Communication & Collaboration: Ensure regular
communication with project team members, management, and
stakeholders, tracking progress and addressing any concerns
promptly.
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project
plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets. Collaborate
with resource managers, finance teams, and executives to ensure all
aspects of the project are aligned with company goals.
- Monitor & Track Project Progress: Regularly monitor the
project's progress against established plans, making adjustments as
needed to stay on schedule and within budget.
- Status Reporting: Provide formal status updates through monthly
reports, bi-weekly snapshots, and project plan updates. Communicate
project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders using both formal
and informal methods.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to the continuous
improvement of the organization's project management processes and
standards, implementing best practices such as lean manufacturing
and root cause analysis.
- Budget & Cost Management: Monitor actual project hours and
costs against estimates and budgets. Ensure project spending aligns
with expectations and report on budgetary status regularly.
- On-Site Presence: Maintain a strong on-site presence,
coordinating with internal teams and clients to ensure the
effective execution of the project.
- Training & Mentorship: Mentor and train project team members to
ensure adherence to project management standards, fostering a
culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in
Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Environmental).
- 5+ years of project management experience, including leading
complex projects in manufacturing (and industrial ventilation
environments is ideal).
- Experience managing distributed project teams across multiple
locations and time zones.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g.,
Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis) to optimize
processes and reduce project cycle times.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and lead risk
mitigation efforts.
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills, with the
ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced
environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project,
Primavera).
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly
present complex technical information to both technical and
non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to
foster collaboration and accountability within teams.Preferred
Qualifications:
- PMI Certification (PMP, CAPM) strongly preferred.
- Master's in Business Administration (MBA) desired.
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dust collection systems, industrial
ventilation technologies, and associated safety and environmental
standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA guidelines).
- Proven experience in industrial settings managing customized
solutions for clients, particularly in industries such as
woodworking, metalworking, pharmaceuticals, or food
processing.Please note this is an on-site position with
