Job Description:
HarmonyTech Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Build Manager
(DevOps/Configuration Engineer) with 4+ years of experience in
complex technology implementations using agile methodologies. This
role focuses on establishing and maintaining the integrity of
software products throughout the project's life cycle. The ideal
candidate will have a strong background in DevOps tools, CI/CD
pipelines, and software configuration management.Position is in
National Capital Region (Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia) and
requires U.S citizenship.Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the build and deployment processes for software
products, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement
DevOps best practices and methodologies.
- Establish and maintain the integrity of software products
throughout the project life cycle.
- Utilize tools such as GitLab and/or GitHub for version control
and collaboration.
- Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes
and Kustomize.
- Design and maintain Jenkins pipelines, including groovy
pipeline scripting, to automate build and deployment
processes.
- Write and maintain Bash scripts to support automation and
streamline workflows.
- Utilize Maven for project management and build automation.
- Work with Node.js and NPM for package management and
application development.
- Integrate and manage code quality tools such as SonarQube and
Nexus.
- Utilize Babel and Webpack for JavaScript application
development and optimization.Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, particularly in
complex technology implementations using agile methodologies.
- Strong experience with GitLab and/or GitHub for version
control.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and Kustomize for container
orchestration.
- Experience in designing and implementing Jenkins pipelines,
including groovy scripting.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.
- Proficient in Bash scripting for automation tasks.
- Experience with Maven for build automation.
- Knowledge of Node.js and NPM for application development.
- Experience with SonarQube and Nexus for code quality and
artifact management.
- Familiarity with Babel and Webpack for JavaScript
development.Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
