The Senior Director of Perioperative Services provides strategic and operational oversight for WellSpan York Hospital (WYH) Perioperative Services to include, Operating Rooms, PACU, Central Sterile Processing, GI labs, Pain Management, Robotics and Pre-operative.Opportunity Highlights:Tower Expansion: The WellSpan York Hospital Surgical & Critical Care Tower expansion project is one of the most significant healthcare projects our regional community has seen. This $427 million investment is designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of our region, and were thrilled to bring this level of advanced, specialty care to central Pennsylvania. The project which is currently underway includes 21 state-of-the-art, larger surgical suites, and four hybrid ORs for complex vascular, neuro, and cardiac procedures.Opportunity to operationalize state of the art operating rooms and interventional procedural area within the operating room suite, and a new pre-operative and PACU recovery unit.Integration of the Advanced Procedural Unit.Oversight of Central Sterilization DepartmentOversight of the Gastrointestinal UnitOversight of pre-admission testing unit (PHAUS)Innovative Surgical Services Program: Oversee and advance a market-leading surgical services program equipped with the latest technology, and advanced equipment.
