Job Description:

clients in the areas of Commercial Real Estate Finance. CW is

capital markets structuring techniques.As a Multifamily Associate,
you will be responsible for working on the resolution of
non-performing multifamily loans and REO assets, including
conventional multifamily, affordable housing, student housing, and
senior housing/assisted living. Additionally, you will perform
credit analyses on pools of commercial mortgage-backed securities
weighted heavily toward agency debt.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Excel modeling of cash flows and valuations for properties
across the multifamily space, with the opportunity to work on
commercial and hospitality assets, depending on market
conditions.
- Asset valuation through market research, including comparable
property and industry analysis, utilizing broker relationships,
third-party tools, independent investigation, and an understanding
of commercial real estate capital markets.
- Completing on-site property inspections and management
interviews across the United States.
- Overseeing third-party property managers, construction
managers, and leasing agents.
- Resolving defaulted mortgages and REO properties through the
review of broker opinions of value, offering materials, appraisals,
and other data sources, presenting conclusions to CWCAM's credit
committee.
- Ensuring that CWCAM's portfolio of loans and REO follows
regulatory requirements and internal policies & procedures.
- Presenting opinions and conclusions to CWCAM's client base
through regular written and direct interactions.Required
Skills/Abilities:
- Highly developed analytical skills, including the ability to
work in complex spreadsheets and return models.
- Strong, accurate, and persuasive writing skills.
- Clearly and concisely articulate complex processes to key
stakeholders.
- The ability to effectively deliver presentations, even in
unfamiliar markets.
- Exceptionally strong time management skills, the ability to
thrive in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage
multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative team player who contributes positively to group
goals while maintaining a self-starter mindset.Education and
Experience:
- Professional experience in structured finance or multifamily
operations.
- 3-7 years of professional experience in commercial real estate
finance or commercial banking with a clear understanding of the CRE
valuation fundamentals.The base salary for this role is expected to
be between $100,000 - $120,000.The base salary range for this role
is provided in accordance with local regulations, but salary
represents just one component of the total compensation package.
Additional elements such as bonuses, overtime, deferred cash (where
applicable), benefits, perks, and company contributions to 401(k)
plans-often result in total compensation significantly exceeding
the base salary. Compensation is influenced by individual
performance, tenure, experience, geographic location, business unit
needs, company performance, and market conditions.CW Financial
