• Family support through our partnership with Parents at WorkThe Role: Maintenance Manager - SimulationJoin a dynamic team maintaining cutting-edge Collins Submarine Simulators at HMAS Stirling, WA. As a Maintenance Manager, you'll conduct operations and maintenance management of two critical simulators supporting Navy training.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage simulator maintenance and site operations.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer and customer standards.
  • Lead, train and develop a small team.
  • Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Monitor and manage personnel performance and site compliance.
  • Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with engineers to solve technical issues.Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
    • Qualification in electronics, IT or similar.
    • Leadership experience in a high-tech environment.
    • Team leadership and problem-solving ability.
    • Managing the site team members to help them achieve their key accountabilities and responsibilities.
    • Willing to travel interstate on an infrequent basis (2-3 times/yr) for meetings or training.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a technical supervisor in an operational or workshop environment.Highly Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
      • Experience in simulation or other technical maintenance environment.
