as possible.Job Description:Blue Water Thinking is seeking an
experienced and dedicated Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Senior
Project Manager to join our team, supporting a large project at the
Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The ERM Senior Project Manager
will lead and oversee complex ERM projects for federal agencies,
ensuring effective risk management strategies, compliance, and
stakeholder engagement.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee large-scale Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
projects, ensuring successful execution.
- Ensure project milestones, budgets, and objectives are met
while maintaining compliance with federal policies and
regulations.
- Provide technical expertise and risk analysis support to assist
clients in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to develop and
implement risk mitigation strategies and best practices.
- Supervise project teams and oversee workstreams, ensuring
alignment with ERM program goals.
- Lead the proliferation and maturity of the ERM program by
designing and delivering training programs.
- Conduct customer engagement activities, including fireside
chats, focus groups, and stakeholder briefings.
- Provide reports and recommendations to senior leadership,
ensuring the continuous improvement of ERM initiatives.Minimum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or a
related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing federal ERM projects, with a
proven track record in complex risk management engagements.
- Professional Certification: RIMS-Certified Risk Management
Professional (RIMS-CRMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or
equivalent.
- Strong experience in federal risk management frameworks,
compliance, and ERM implementation.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead
cross-functional teams.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation
skills.Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business, Public Administration, or a
related field.
- Experience working with federal agencies, particularly VA, DHS,
or DoD.
- Familiarity with NIST, OMB A-123, and ISO 31000 risk management
frameworks.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without
the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the
future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public
trust clearance for this role.Compensation:Salary for this position
is determined by various factors, including location, the
candidate's combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and
experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and
organizational requirements.Salary range: $125,000 - $145,000Blue
