A hospital in Maryland is actively seeking an INTERIM Director Oncology Operations who can start within the next few weeks.
The INTERIM Director Oncology Operations will work at a health system that continues to build, grow, invest in innovation and launch new programs so that patients in the community are able to access high-quality care. The Interim Director Oncology Operations will be based out of a 300-bed hospital, overseeing their outpatient operations for the Cancer Center, Infusion Center, Radiation Therapy, and Wound Clinic, supporting 70+FTES.
The Interim leader should have previous leadership experience, ideally over an outpatient setting that includes oncology services.
As a Clinical Management Consultant (CMC) W2 employee, the INTERIM Director Oncology Operations will be offered a 13-week contract that could be extended or converted into the permanent position, along with healthcare benefits, and paid time off, paid holidays, and sick days. Qualified candidates may also be eligible to receive paid travel, housing, and car rental.
The hospital is located in Northern Maryland, in a suburb that is easily commutable from Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. With a great work life balance, the Interim Director Oncology Operations will have time to visit the local museums, attend local sporting events, dining at delicious restaurants, and explore the surrounding national parks. The INTERIM Director Oncology Operations can easily take day trips into Baltimore Maryland, Washington DC, York Pennsylvania, and more.
The hospital is ideally seeking an interim leader who can start immediately (ideally within two weeks after an offer is presented and accepted). The Interim Director Oncology Operations will be offered a 13-week contract, however, if both parties agree, the contract may have the option to extend or convert into the full-time, direct hire, permanent position.
