The Verizon Wireless Assistant Store Manager will work directly with the Store Manager to ensure the sales team is well-versed in our selling process, Verizon Wireless products and services, and that our retail location attains our operational standards of excellence.   • Working side by side with the Store Manager to build a positive, customer and goal-oriented environment.
  • Assisting the Store Manager in hiring, scheduling, and supervising a team of Verizon Wireless Sales Associates.
  • Meeting or exceeding personal and team key performance indicators each month.
  • Coaching/mentoring your team daily to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Ensuring your location operates under the specific guidelines of both Verizon Wireless and Mobile Generation.
  • Assisting the Store Manager in promotional roles, inventory procedures, or other duties as assigned.
  • Setting an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others.Mobile Generation is looking for candidates with:
    • 1+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or other wireless businesses.
    • Proof of achievement in prior sales roles.
    • Ability to lead, coach, and inspire team members.
    • Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology products, and customer service.
    • Ability to travel to various locations across the Midwest as business needs dictate.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
