love to hear from you!We are seeking a dedicated Workforce
Specialist to play a pivotal role at NIMH.Position Duties
- Conduct studies, reviews, evaluations, and assessments of
administrative management issues, proposals, and programs.
- Prepare a variety of comprehensive reports, management
summaries, and briefing papers which identify problems and provide
recommendations.
- Initiate and review HR actions such as pay incentives, Title
42, Title 38, and a variety of other personnel cases for NIMH or
NIH approval.
- Manage, advise, and prepare necessary documents related to the
recruitment and selection process.
- Utilize automated systems to prepare documents for review and
signature.
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends and make
recommendations for staffing needs.
- Act as a liaison between IRP staff and the Office of Human
Resources.
- Review position descriptions created by management to ensure
compliance with position management and classification
policies.
- Serve as a Federal Task Leader to acquire SOAR contractor
support.
- Perform internal staffing and placement actions such as
creating OF-8s, position descriptions, and job analyses.
- Utilize HR databases to enter, review, and manage personnel
information.
- Keep customers and Section Chief up to date regarding the
status of actions and any foreseen issues.QualificationsCandidates
must be detail-oriented and have strong customer service skills.
Strong written communication is required, and potential candidates
should understand HR principles and practices, including
recruitment and staffing. Strong analytical and problem-solving
