Job Description:

A leading supplier of quality construction building materials in the United States has immediate openings for a Mobile Fleet Mechanic to support operations at the Asphalt plant located in Clinton, MD. This position will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a wide variety of fixed mechanical equipment. The selected candidate will typically work from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday, with the first 90 days of employment on the morning shift.Responsibilities

• Perform general overhaul, tune-up, and repair work on automobiles and related power-driven equipment
• Inspect, adjust, and replace necessary units and parts including cooling, fuel, and exhaust components
• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
• May fabricate and modify parts and equipment
• Repair engine failures, mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, body repair, and replacing parts and components
• Service machinery and mechanical equipment by completing repairs on engines, hydraulic systems, mobile and stationary equipment
• Provide routine inspections of vehicles
• Keep an accurate log of all work performed
• Maintain and clean all garage equipment and tools to ensure equipment is kept in usable condition at all timesRequirements
