Your Impact:Drive mission success by designing, securing, and optimizing cloud-based and air-gapped infrastructure. Your expertise in automation, scalability, and security will enable Skyward Federal to deliver ultra-sensitive, multi-domain cyber-logistics solutions-strengthening national security and advancing critical operations.Where You'll Take Charge:

• Infrastructure optimization - Build, scale, and evolve multi-domain cloud and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring availability and performance.
• Security and compliance - Implement and automate security controls that align with DoD STIG, RMF, and SRG requirements.
• Pipeline automation - Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines for secure and classified environments to enable fast, reliable deployments.
• Platform innovation - Enhance infrastructure capabilities, automation, and tooling.
• Deployments and support - Own the full deployment lifecycle, from automating infrastructure to hands-on implementation and frontline troubleshooting.
• Identity and access management - Configure and maintain authentication and authorization services across cloud and hybrid environments.
• IaC - Design and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm for AWS/Azure environments.
• Cross-functional collaboration - Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and system reliability.
• Classified operations - Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure in classified SCIF environments.Your Edge:
  • Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, AWS, or Azure
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation and infrastructure management
  • Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration best practices
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (networking, DNS, storage, compute)
  • Security-first mindset with experience implementing DoD security standards
  • Strong communication skills for technical collaboration and documentation
  • Provides high-level system design and real-time support needs
  • Experience with air-gapped or highly classified environments
  • Familiarity with DoD orIC communities
  • U.S. citizenship is required to meet eligibility for a security clearance
