Job Description:
Description We are seeking a passionate and skilled DevSecOps
Engineer to join our high-performing development team. Provide
support to the ongoing implementation of the Continuous
Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline that supports
the program. Experience with the core toolset utilized in the
program's pipeline or similar tools will allow you to operate at
the appropriate level for this role. An in-depth knowledge of tool
interactions within the pipeline will allow you to support
troubleshooting of issues. The DevSecOps Engineer must be able to
quickly learn business workflows, technical architecture and
dependent systems of the supported services. You will be working
with AWS, Jenkins, Docker/Podman, ECS, EKS, Terraform, Ansible or
an equivalent are a wide array of tools that you have used in the
past. Requirement
- Ensure continuous availability of various DevOps tools
supporting SCM & Release Management including Source Control,
Containerization, Continuous Integration, & Change Management.
(Jenkins, Docker, JIRA, SonarQube, Terraform, AWS CLI).
- Work with cross-functional co-located teams in design,
development and implementation of enterprise scalable features
related to enabling higher developer productivity, environment
monitoring and self-healing, and facilitate autonomous delivery
teams.
- Will operate as a technical expert on DevOps infrastructure
projects pertaining to Containerization, systems management, design
and architecture.
- Should be able to troubleshoot issues related to GitLab
pipelines and integration with other DevSecOps tools.
- Should have experience working with DevSecOps Tools, experience
with GitLab pipeline is a must.
- Ability to collaborate and work with development and support
teams.
- Support and resolve user tickets. Effectively support various
teams using DevSecOps tools.
- Should have experience in DevOps pipeline tools and
technologies, including Nexus RM/lifecycle, SonarQube, Docker,
GitLab CI/CD, Maven, AWS tools and Kubernetes.
- Experience maintaining COTS products and following support
guides.
- Experience working with multiple stages of DevOps
Pipeline.
- Understanding of scripts in Windows and Linux platforms.
- Integrate newly developed and existing applications into
private and hybrid cloud environments.
- Should be able to follow through logs, debug and identify
issues.
- Leverage application monitoring tools to troubleshoot and
diagnose environment issues.
- Work collaboratively with development and support teams.
- Follow through guidance and documentation steps to troubleshoot
pipelines and COTS products. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Development and Support teams.

- DevSecOps Tools Support.
- COTS Product maintenance for ECSL.
- Multi-stage pipeline development/maintenance experience and
DevOps Knowledge.
- Basic Scripting (Windows and Linux). Qualifications - External
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- BA/BS degree or higher is a must with 8 years relevant
experience or MA/MS degree or higher and 6 years relevant
experience.
- Experience working in a large software development program
using Agile development methodology.
- Familiar with various branching strategies.
- Over 5 years of functional experience supporting
DevOps/DevSecOps to reengineer and automate the software
development process.
- To effectively support various teams, the candidate should have
5 years of experience in DevOps pipeline tools and technologies,
including Jenkins, Ansible, Nexus RM/IQ, SonarQube, Docker, GitLab
CI/CD, Maven, AWS tools and Kubernetes.
- At least four years hands-on experience.
- Able to demonstrate in-depth technical expertise in DevSecOps
techniques, continuous integration, continuous testing, and
continuous deployment.
- Capable of implementing automated methods that improve the
performance and reliability of the system including scripting,
integration, and problem resolution related to the CI/CD pipeline
tool chain.
- Experience with at least some of the following technologies and
techniques: CI/CD, Java, Python, JavaScript, Agile/Scrum/Kanban,
Configuration Management, Test Automation, Test Driven Development,
Behavior Driven Testing, DevSecOps Collaboration, Rally, Gradle,
AWS, Terraform, Apache Ant, Apache JMeter, Azure.
- Must be able to obtain Public Trust. Desired Qualifications and
Skills:
- AWS experience and certifications a plus.
- DevSecOps Certification a plus.
