a Senior Analyst on the Strategy & Operations team, you will act as
a key partner to the team by providing visibility and analysis as
it relates to EAB's Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and into the
company's overall and future performance projections. You will
perform in-depth analysis to identify opportunities, set strategy,
and allocate resources. To be successful, you will need to
establish a technical proficiency across common data and analytics
platforms, and build a comprehensive understanding of our
organization. Ideal candidates for this position will have
exceptional critical thinking and communication skills, and must be
highly motivated to tackle challenging problems and provide
outstanding service.This role may be based in Washington, D.C. or
Richmond, VA.Primary Responsibilities:
- Forecasting performance in order to set expectations for the
executive team
- Analyzing specific business problems, including ARR across the
company, pricing analysis, ad-hoc analysis, modeling, and
forecasting
- Identifying actionable data to align commercial and delivery
behavior with business objectives
- Collaborating with leadership across Commercial, Product,
Strategy, and Finance divisions to understand pressing business
needs and act as a strategic thought partner to address those
needs, specifically as it relates to future M&A activity at
EAB
- Creating models to forecast future performance and model the
impact of new initiatives on revenue and service delivery
- Analyzing trends and validating adherence to strategic
initiatives and objectives
- Using SQL to transform and clean data for the purpose of
downstream analysis
- Creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations in Excel
to generate actionable insight
- Setting and maintaining sales and renewal goals based on
historical performance data and qualitative feedback
- Delivering in-depth ad hoc analyses to diagnose performance
issues and guide strategic initiativesBasic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in an analytical/quantitative field
(e.g. economics, statistics, finance, accounting, etc.)
- Minimum 3-4+ years of work experience in an analytical or
operational capacity
- Robust grasp of complex Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas,
pivot tables, and power query).
- Proven experience using Microsoft Excel and SQL to query and
analyze business data
- Experience with financial modeling and valuation analysis
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and
insights from data
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to
influence others and gain the trust of stakeholders
- Self-starter with proven ability to think creatively and
navigate data complexity, stay organized and multi-task in a
fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a desire to solve challenging
problems, and to constantly improve technical/analytical skills by
learning new methodsIdeal Qualifications:
- Experience working with complex and disparate data to produce
relevant and consumable reports, dashboards, and/or ad-hoc
analyses
- Experience using PowerBI, Tableau, or other business
intelligence/visualization tools
- Experience with Salesforce or other customer relationship
management (CRM) systems
- Experience reporting to/communicating with executives
- Experience in FP&A or with M&A analysis and/or
diligence

PromiseCompensation:The anticipated starting salary (base) range
for this role is $70,000 to $86,500 per year. Actual salary varies
due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant
experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an
individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary
range for their role.This hire will additionally be eligible for
discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable
compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and
organizational performance.Consistent with our belief that our
