Strategy Consultant or Senior Consultant to support our growing
Transition Strategy and Execution line of business. This role is
based in Seattle, WA. -What you'll do:Support consulting strategy
development, financial modeling and execution
- Develop robust financial analysis and models integrating
climate, sustainability, economic, policy, technology, and other
related data.
- Evaluate market, industry and customer specific data to develop
relevant assumptions and time horizons for integration into project
deliverables.
- Develop business cases for sustainability-focused projects and
programs, including but not limited to climate, water and
waste-related initiatives.
- Serve as a project engagement's primary 'doer' - activate the
project plan developed by the leadership team, building the
foundation to deliver high quality work products on a timely
basis.
- Create high quality deliverables that meet and exceed project
requirements.
- Convert research and analysis into synthesized content for
storytelling to client executives.
- Demonstrate executive presence in client communication, present
to clients on an as needed basis.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Candidates should understand how to identify, evaluate and
quantify financial impacts of sustainability-related business
cases
- Candidates should be able to provide analysis and synthesis of
emerging sustainability technologies and solutions and understand
the business model implications of testing and commercializing
different solutions.
- Seek out learnings and experiences to build and enhance domain
expertise. -
- Candidates with experience deploying clean energy solutions &
systems and / or developing energy efficiency and decarbonization
strategies are a priority for this role.Support internal projects
- Build financial models to support business planning for new
service offerings and solution
- Contribute to business development and market research efforts
that support client sales presentations and thought
leadership.
- Help build materials for Earth Finance's Learning Agenda and
wider team development.Skills you'll need to be successful in the
role:
- 3 - 7 years of professional experience. We will prioritize
candidates with 2+ years in climate strategy and past consulting
work experience. We are open to candidates with commensurate and
transferable experience.
- Experience in developing robust financial models and
sensitivity analysis to support business case development
- Experience with scenario analysis, including Monte Carlo and
Crystal Ball, to evaluate probabilities and range of potential
outcomes.
- Experience developing quantitative and qualitative analysis and
presentations to support program or project-level business
cases.
- Experience working with retail and consumer-facing businesses,
electric utilities or within the energy industry strongly
desired.
- Experience with and understanding of global standards and
frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, SBTi, RE100, ISSB, TCFD, TNFD,
and PRI (among others).
- Experience with energy, decarbonization, and climate transition
solutions and familiarity with project finance.
- Ability to conduct high quality, quantitative analyses of
climate-related data and corporate strategy processes with a strong
attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills that can adapt
to different audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an
inclusive environment with client partners.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguous problem areas and
identifying a range of potential opportunity sets and
solutions
- Flexible mindset with the ability to build trust and work
independently.
- Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations.
- Commitment to continuous learning.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
- Interest in building and managing sustainable businesses.
- Willingness to travel.
- Outstanding academic performance in an undergraduate or
-Masters -degree (preferably with experience in climate,

- Salary range for this role is $120,000 - $160,000. Title and
salary offered will be commensurate with your experience, plus
performance-based bonus and equity options.
