for a sharp, driven, and dynamic Contracts Administrator to support
and contribute to the success of a significant portfolio of
contracts. This position will support the full range of contracting
activities, from pre-proposal through contract closeout. These
contracts are essential to the United States military,
international customers, and contemporary world events. You will
work with other exceptional professionals across many functions and
business areas like program management, finance, and engineering.

Administrator, you will:
Support, and in some cases lead, the
proposal, negotiation, and management of complex proposal and
contract activities in accordance with company policies, legal and
customer requirements, with guidance or supervision from the
Director, Contract Managers, and/or Principal Contract
Administrators.Interpret and communicate business commitments and
alternatives to program team and management during contract
execution. Serve as a business advisor not bound solely by your
functional role on the team.Develop and maintain professional and
dependable relationships with both internal and external
customers.Gain, maintain, and continue to develop an in-depth
knowledge and working understanding of the US Government
Acquisition and Procurement environment, the BAE Systems Contracts
function, and relevant company policies and procedures, FAR/DFARS,
export, and other government regulations.Support proposal
activities including, but not limited to, analysis of
solicitations/RFPs, preparing summaries and developing strategies
and recommendations based on the analysis.Be mindful and attentive
to the financial and business risks of the proposed effort and
engage in all proposal team meetings.With assistance, prepare the
terms, conditions, and assumptions upon which the proposal may be
submitted, review the technical and pricing proposals for accuracy
and consistency, conduct overall business risk analysis, and
prepare the proposal documents for submittal to the
customer.Provide analysis of solicitations, ensure that
bid/proposals are prepared and presented in a manner to afford the
company the greatest opportunity to obtain the contract award while
minimizing associated liabilities and risk.Establish, manage, and
execute negotiation strategies.Perform business risk assessment and
recommend mitigation plans.Conduct negotiation of contracts or
contract modifications.Execute proposals and contracts in
accordance with delegated authority.Provide input for
budgets.Perform all aspects of assigned contract administration and
execution management including, but not limited to, accuracy of
order entry data, contract funding, scope changes, contract
modifications, non-conformances, receipts and delivery schedules,
legal requirements, ancillary documents, and other
commitments.Compile, organize, and maintain all required
contractual records and documents in accordance with contract
requirements and company policies and procedures.This is a Hybrid
position where you will be in the office 3 days per week.This
position is on a 9/80 schedule, where you will have every other
Friday off.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of
relevant Contract administration experience or equivalent
experience.Knowledge of DoD contracting, including system
development, production, and support services, as well as contract
types (e.g., FFP, CPFF) and the appropriate application of
each.Knowledge of FAR/DFARSCommunicate clearly, effectively, and
proactively, both orally (in-person and virtually) and in
writing.Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing,
coordinating and negotiating with company personnel and customers
at all levels;Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate
reports and documents (Microsoft Office suite and Adobe)Demonstrate
research, analysis, and presentation skills to senior
leadership.Excellent organizational and follow through
skills.Detail oriented.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- 3 or more years of related
experience
- JD and/or MBA degree.
- Understanding of FAR/DFARS
- Prime Contractor experience.
- Make decisions using sound judgement while complying with
policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state
and federal laws and regulations.
- Ability to influence and advise senior corporate management
based on sound research and analysis.
- Working knowledge of project-based financial measures: Sales,
Cash Flow, Profit, Estimate To Complete, etc.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $58300 - $99100Please note: This
range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual
salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not
limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and
internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as
