Erickson Senior Living Job OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Erickson Senior Living, one of the country's largest and most respected providers of senior living and health care.About the Role

• As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the General Ledger for assigned lines of business and communities, preparing journal entries and white papers, and reconciling complex bank and balance sheet accounts.
• You will also review bank and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by staff accountants, resolve outstanding items on account reconciliations, and prepare or assist in the preparation of assigned month-end financial reports.Responsibilities
  • Maintain General Ledger (dollars and statistics) for assigned lines of business and communities.
  • Prepare journal entries and white papers to record and document complex accounting transactions.
  • Reconcile complex bank and balance sheet accounts.
  • Review the bank and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by staff accountants.
  • Resolve outstanding items on account reconciliations in conjunction with other departments as necessary.
  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of assigned month-end financial reports, including reviewing reports for unusual trends, comparing current month results to the prior month, and investigating trends.Requirements
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate accounting or related position/similar industry.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
    • Previous experience with real estate development is preferred.
