• Develop and implement educational curriculum and programs tailored to the CVICU team.
• Lead new hire orientation to ensure a smooth and informed onboarding experience.
• Cultivate educational programs for current department staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Revise and update policy procedures, ensuring alignment with the latest best practices.
• Implement quality improvement plans to bolster patient care and departmental efficiency.As a pivotal resource within the department, the Nurse Educator CVICU will stay informed on industry best practices, excel in communication, and engage in cross-collaboration with fellow Nurse Educators, Nurse Managers, Directors, specialists, physicians, and ancillary staff.Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Nurse Educator, Instructor, Clinical Specialist, or Preceptor.
  • Clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
  • Active Registered Nurse License (with the option to obtain the correct state license prior to starting).
